The first online platform I’ll be discussing is Facebook. Facebook was found in febuary 2004, by a range of people who went by the names of Mark Zuckberg, Dustin Moskoutiz and Andrew Collum. This online platform, has over 1 billion users this is why I have chosen to speak about this platform as it’s well none for interacting with varios people around the world, Such as: long loss family members, friends or even friends from the past. That’s why facebook is good because it requests friends which you would never think you would get back into contact with. Furthermore, marketing is very good on facebook as it is a tool for businesses. Facebook allows busineses to share there links , images and posts etc. This helps the facebook user a better sense of a business’s personality and character. Lastly, having a Facebook business page is good as it gives you a way to develop your brand etc and also show your human side as well.

The second online platform I’ll be talking about is Snapchat. Snapchat was founded by Evan Spigel and was launched in 2011. This online mobile app was seen to be very unique. This is because it allows you to take videos and photos and to add captions etc. This enables you to broadcast on your story to your friends or to the world. This mobile app also allows your Snapchat story to stay up for 24 hours. The reason why I have chosen this mobile platform is because it’s similar to Facebook however the format is different. In addition, it enables users to interact with friends and family in a different way to Facebook. Furthermore, this platform is more suited for all ages as well. Last but not least, snapchat has been said to be an excellent way for marketing. This is because it gives the audience a direct access to live events. For example, you can use it for product launches, trade shows and different type of events etc. Snapchat is perfect for real-time social media marketing because it can give the audience direct access to live events. Snapchat gets your audience excited because you’re providing a different, more authentic view of what’s going on at the event.

The final online/mobile platform I’ll be speaking about is Instagram. Instagram was founded by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and was launched in October 2010 as a free online mobile app. This social media platform is used to upload videos and photos and enables users to take photos and videos as well. The reason why I chose Instagram is because it is different to Facebook and Instagram as it is more focused on sharing phone of an individual. Whereas Facebook is more focused on social networking and Snapchat is more focused on video sharing. Last but not least, instagram is good for marketing as it also lets you to showcase your products and allows you to increase your followers all at the same time. You can also offer a free product to celebrate a particular company milestone. If the milestone is Instagram-related, all the better! You’ll promote customer loyalty and gain free publicity when fans tag their friends.

Why are large video files problematic when uploading to the Internet and what solutions are available

Firstly, there are many problems that can causes files to be problematic. First of all there could be problems with their Internet connection. This can be sorted out by connecting to your steam. Secondly, there could be issues with the network health, so viewers should check that they have a decent enough capacity to view multiple streams. Thirdly, making sure that you have the latest version of your software. If this is not done on your software then do that first. Also if your stream looks or sound bad then there may be a problem with your audio. If so, then there will be information which can advised you on how to resolve this issue on encoder errors.

The second problematic file that I have chosen to speak about is Twitch. Twitch was founded in June 2011; twitch is the world’s leading social video platform and community for gamers, video game culture, and the creative arts. Twitch is a very famous live stream. This is because it has a lot of young people who enjoy watching and seeing their favourite twitch streamers. Las but not least, this on going video platform has over 10 million viewers. By this happening, can cause files being corrupt etc.

Skype is an online video network that enables you to have a spoken conversation with someone over the Internet using the software application. Skype is an app, which you are able to download of various gadgets. Such as phones, laptops and computers etc. Furthermore, Skype is seen to be problematic as its currently has over 660 million users using it globally.
